Leadvale Baptist Church

Shawn Majors was called to Leadvale Baptist Church in September of 2015. He is a 1999 graduate of Shorter University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Prior to coming to Leadvale, Shawn served as Minister of Music for a total of 11 years at churches in Virginia and Georgia. His favorite verse from God’s Word is Psalm 19:14:

             Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart,

               be acceptable in Your sight,

              O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Shawn is so thankful that the Lord led him to this wonderful family of believers that has such a love for God and for each other, and he longs to lead others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. He is also thankful that Leadvale and God allow him to live out his heart’s desire: to lead people in praising and worshiping almighty God through music. Shawn is married to his beautiful wife of 11 years, Emily. They make their home in White Pine, Tennessee.
